About Natural England
Natural England is the government’s adviser for the natural environment in England, helping to protect England’s nature and landscapes for people to enjoy and for the services they provide. You can find out more here.
We are an executive non-departmental public body, sponsored by the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs.
This blog is where we’ll share updates on our work and stories from our staff – ranging from creating a continuous path around our coast and managing 140 National Nature Reserves, through to conducting research on the recovery of the dormouse and monitoring populations of hen harriers.
You can get updates by email whenever this blog is updated.
We want to hear what you think about our work. Please feel free to comment and ask questions. Let us know if there’s something you’d like us to include in a future post.
